The Footprint

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from anguish,
sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints,
so I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there has only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The years when you have seen only one set of footprints,
my child, is when I carried you."

monday blues.. in advance..

wow.. just realised i've not been updating my blog for almost a week le.. sigh.. no choice.. nowadays always feel so tired.. dont really get the chance to really sit down n have the mental strength to think of what to write..
my life have been really hectic.. okie.. not hectic as in i'm very busy.. cos the fact that i've not been getting enough sleep.. have to wake up at ard 7plus almost everyday in the week.. not a single chance where i can actually sleep till noon (which i desire to.. =X)
well well, abt my attachment.. u wont believe it.. cos my research project is almost finishing.. that is, my project at kkh will come to an end soon.. but hey, nono, if this is what u r thinking, i cant stop working at kkh.. haix.. my supervisor will be giving me another topic which i can work on.. arghh.. 3 weeks have past, 8 more weeks to go.. sorry, counting down.. heh.. =P
mm.. had cg at lina's place.. jon's not supposed to be playing for p&w cos he'd injured his thumb while having driving lesson last week.. but in the end he still played cos jacob don't really know how to play the songs that jon'd chosen.. so in the end, he's to play 'without' his thumb..
mm.. i basically slag the whole day but didnt get to wake up late cos having piano lesson in the morning.. after that i slept for the rest of the afternoon.. went to causeway point with jon for a short walk in the evening..
today we dont have cell group after the service.. instead we brought the pri sch kids from the children ministry to distribute the children christmas carnival leaflet and to sell the coupons.. the kids r soOOo cute! wah.. can tell u, those kids r really very active wor.. after all the walking, i already felt really tired le.. but those kids r still so active! ahh.. this is making me feel old.. sighzzz.. but can say that i really have an enjoyable time with the kids.. hee..
had choir today n i was in charge of buying lunch for the singers.. got xue fen n ann to help me carry all the stuff.. heh.. we went for a short shopping trip to orchard, trying to get the clothes that we're going to wear during the christmas performance on 19th dec.. but in the end, didnt managed to find anything satifying.. cos will have to go on another shopping trip soon le.. hopefully i get to find something which is gd looking n most importantly, its bot too expensive.. gonna save up le.. have been spending alot these days..
ok.. i think i gonna stop here le.. getting very long winded.. tmr have to wake up early for go for work again.. sighzZz.. ok,, hope u guys have a blessed week ahead! tale care! =)
