The Footprint

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from anguish,
sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints,
so I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there has only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The years when you have seen only one set of footprints,
my child, is when I carried you."

1st week of holiday~

wow.. it has been some time since i last updated on this blog..
yeah.. there is another major revamption to the current blog template.. cos i've gotten alot of feedbacks on how ppl have been facing difficulties navigating my blog.. so.. sighzZz.. decided to redo everything n settle with a simple ones instead.. so here u r, the new blog to entertain u for the time.. contents r more or less the same.. didnt really do much alterations.. simple copying whatever i have n paste it into the current one.. =X

but anyway, just wanna share a bit of what i've been doing thru the past 1 week.. yeah.. my 1st week of holiday.. went back to kkh to help out with an event organised by Make A Wish foundation and Novatis.. have been hearing abt the MAW foundation, be it on the net or novels, but have nv have a chance to work with them.. n most of the time its the MAW overseas organisation eg USA that i've heard abt.. have absolutely no idea that it is here in S'pore too..

during this event, employers at novatis have planned to doing CIP by learning how to do balloon sculpturing n ball juggling to entertain the children in the children's ward.. i was supposed to be the leader of each small gp n guide them as to where they're supposed to go, which ward n cubicles they're allowed to enter.. though the inexperiences volunteers have only spent that only morning learning all the stunts, but i'm really impressed by there heart, trying to cheer up the kids as much as possible.. trying to fullfil the wants of the kids again n again that i needed to stop them as the time they have is so limited that we need to carry on to the next ward for the benefit of other children.. i've also learnt how to do balloon sculpturing to make some for those children in the infectious wards and ICU.. heh.. here's the 1 i've made n brought back home.. with LOTS of love from KKH!

other then that, have been spending alot of time planning for the Youth for Causes application. Trying to finalise the things we want to add into our proposal, contacting the respective organisation like Club Rainbow to get their support for this event n other possible organisation that is our potential sponsors.. doing research on how we want to get our souveniors n stuff etc.. quite alot of woke still need to be done.. dateline on 15 May.. hopefully by then everything will be completed.. n i also pray that by God's grace that we're able to carry out, even if we're not selected, but by the support of Club Rainbow..

had english n chinese combined service today.. went to my first confirmation/baptism class today.. taught of how to experience God's presence n listening to God's Word thru its living Word.. have a few homeworks.. heh..

God's cheryl's birthday: Happy Birthday! U're not that old la.. U're just 1 yr more matured! =)
