Finally~
As I looked through my past entries, cant imagine that i've stopped writing for almost 4 months..
Hectic schedules drove me out of my usual 'life'.. Work, studies, tuition, ministries.. No doubt i enjoy serving the people ard me, but i find myself unable to limit to my abilities in managing my time to my commitments.. i basically have no time for myself.. =(
My counselling course is drawing to a closure soon in less than 4 weeks, with loads of assignments due soon, inclusive of essays (urgh) and presentation. Sigh..
But i can say that time really flies, one year has gone in just a flash.. People often ask me, what am i going to do with this diploma that i'm going to get at the end of the course.. My response will be that i'll continue on my degree in biomedical science (which i deferred for a year to take the counseling course).. most dont really see the link, so am I.. haha..
a degree seems like one of the essentials that we need in s'pore.. what to do? i do not think having 2 diplomas make a difference too in the first place.. frankly, i dont even know if i'll pursue a career in the biomedical field too.. i sensed that God is calling me into full time ministry.. n i would love to be one, i just enjoy serving God through serving people.. esp the needys.. thats what i really want to do.. but i'm still waiting for the right time.. the reason y i took up the course in counseling psychology is one of the steps i took to understanding deeper in the helping relationship.. anyway, i'm graduating soon! yeah.. =P
i really thank God that everything's so well planned.. my degree course will resume at the end of sept.. He's blessed me with 1 month of rest b4 the scary schedule starts (3-4 lessons per week =/)..
till now, i've been coaching rahimi, my tuition kid for more than 6 months already.. he's a smart boy, really.. though slight autism struck him, i believe that he is capable of doing well for his PSLE if he works hard enough.. he's a boy who's so fasinated by the scientific discovery, i can even say that he knows more than me! considering the amt of read-up he do and the hard-to-end- sharing he gave during tuition.. lol.. its less than 3 months b4 his PSLE in october, after which i decide to stop giving tuition so that I can have more rest.. but ending it seems so hard.. the relationship that we've built up after so long.. i long to make a difference in a child's life.. but i guess God has a plan for me.. Really glad that iris is currently teaching rahimi's siblings.. at least can get some updated from her.. =)
well well, just in case some of you does not know, i'm no longer working with the BBHQ.. i've already worked in Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School (GMS) for almost 3 weeks.. working environment here is rather flexible and relax.. cos my boss's office at NCC is like almost 10 mins walk away from my office.. no doubt as expected in the outside working world, i get to know ppl who are.. well.. i dont really know how to put it.. very dao? like to cc very single email when replying.. haha.. but i get to know a group of ppl who're really approachable and friendly.. they're my usual lunch kakis whenever i'm at my office.. (cos i usually run between GMS & NCC, getting more tan n exercise.. i'm already walking up the slope everyday in the morning)
work is good overall, imagine i can spend time typing this out during my working hour.. =X
haha.. but i really thank God for this job.. it really opens my eyes to the reality of working world.. n given me more time to serve in the GB ministry on saturday mornings.. BB CARES coming soon on 21 July.. just over the weekend when publicity only starts on sat, we already have 12 children responsed from the p1 level! Praise God! i'm really looking forward to more of the reponses n the carnival on the day itself!
alright, i guess thats all for updates for now.. shall update again when possible.. hee.. =X
God bless! =)
